Sue Boyes
CEO
Sue joined REMAP in April 2021, as the CEO. After a successful military career in the Army, Sue moved to work in the charity sector. Having worked with several well-known national charities, she is an experienced Volunteer Manager, with extensive knowledge and skill in developing peer/patient-led services. Sue previously worked for Prostate Cancer UK as the charity’s national lead of peer support services.

Kate Fussell
Administration Manager
Kate joined REMAP in February 2021 as the Administration Manager. Kate has worked in Administration Managerial roles for a number of years, many of which have been within the charity sector.

Jo Pollard
Regional Coordinator – North
Jo joined REMAP in June 2022 as Regional Coordinator for the North of England. Jo has worked within the voluntary sector for over 18 years, specifically in service delivery and volunteer recruitment and development.

Shelley Taylor
Regional Coordinator – Central England
Originally from a mechanical engineering background, Shelley has spent most of her working life in organisation & management roles within the corporate world.
She joined Remap in January 2020 as volunteer to chair the Essex South panel. She very much enjoys working with the panel and will continue with this in parallel to the Regional Coordinator role.

Terry Donoghue
Regional Coordinator – South
Terry joined REMAP in July 2022 as Regional Coordinator for the South East of England. Terry has enjoyed a long career in a number of social worker and management roles in statutory social work before he moved to SSAFA working as a Regional Volunteer Manager.

Cathy Gill
Scotland National Coordinator
After 8 years in an administrative role in the Royal Air Force, Cathy trained to be Physiotherapist at Glasgow Caledonian University. Having completed over 25 years with NHS Scotland, she has started (another!) new career with Remap as the Scottish National Coordinator. Cathy has worked as a volunteer over the years and currently retains her volunteer positions with 2 national charities. She brings this experience to her new role of supporting the Remap volunteers in Scotland.

Martin Hall
Marketing & Communications Manager
Martin has worked in the voluntary & community sector for over 20 years, and following spells in fundraising and grantmaking began to specialise in communications in 2010. His most recent role was working for Voluntary Sector North West, the regional voluntary sector network for the North West of England. There he was communications lead for Answer Cancer, an NHS commissioned programme aiming to increase cancer screening rates across Greater Manchester.
Outside of work Martin enjoys walks with his rescue greyhound Harvey, and is an active member of a local running club. He is also the Secretary and communications volunteer for the Friends group of his local park.

Peter Cattermole
Chair
Peter was appointed as a REMAP Trustee in March 2020. Peter spent over 30 years working for a major international oil and gas company in multinational engineering and project management roles. He specialised in setting up new organisations, change management and commercial contracts. His last role was negotiating and implementing a major outsourcing project.
Peter joined REMAP as a volunteer in 2019 and works within two of the charity’s branches, as a volunteer Engineer.

Andrew Waters
Treasurer
Andrew joined REMAP in 2013 as Trustee and Treasurer. He has been a Chartered Accountant for over 50 years, during that time he worked for both KPMG and BDO LLP, Chartered Accountants, where for the latter he was a Partner. His role there included working with numerous clients from different business sectors, advising them on financial and other business matters. He also had a Managerial and Regulatory role, and his experience included extensive global travel.
Since retiring in 2012, Andrew has worked with several charities as a Trustee and Treasurer.

Saransh Sagar
Trustee
Saransh joined Remap in March 2021 as a Trustee.
He is a graduate mechanical engineer, and currently works as a product manager within FinTech.

Stuart Wheeler
Trustee
Stuart joined REMAP in December 2021 as a Trustee. Stuart runs Freedom Wheelchair Skills, a company that provides peer-led training in the fundamentals of using a wheelchair that encourages people to lead more independent lives.
He was a backseat passenger in 1993 when the car he was in was involved in an accident. He woke up from a coma a month later in The National Spinal Injuries Centre in Stoke Mandeville. He was 17, paralysed, and wheelchair-dependent. He has since worked extensively with the spinal injuries charity, Back Up and now teaches wheelchair skills to anyone with mobility needs around the country.

Liz Myers
Trustee
Liz has had a long involvement with our sister charity REMAP Scotland, as her father was the previous National Organiser and responsible for establishing it as a separate organisation. She joined their Board of Trustees in 2015 and became their Chair in 2018.
Her professional background is in healthcare. She trained as a General Nurse at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh then undertook specialist training in intensive care at Guy’s Hospital, London followed by ward sister posts in Glasgow. She spent six years working in academia, undertaking two research degrees, including a PhD from Glasgow Caledonian University, before returning to clinical practice in Tayside in 1991. She was appointed Nurse Consultant for Acute Medicine in NHS Tayside in 2001, a role that combined clinical care with research, education and strategic development. Over the course of her professional career, she has held various national roles including serving as a Nurse Advisor to the NHS Scotland Policy Board and as a Chair of the Scottish Nurse Midwife and Allied Health Professional Consultant Council.
She retired from the NHS in 2016 and is currently self-employed.

Dayna Ferdinandi
Trustee
Dayna started her career in the corporate space before she moved to the charity sector where, over the last 15 years, she has worked with some amazing charities in a variety of communications roles.
One of the highlights of her career was working with the Heads Together campaign with Their Royal Highnesses Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex in 2017.
Dayna believes that charity should be all about people. She got involved in the sector to help people, through fundraising and raising awareness. Having worked for a disability charity for the last 4 years, she see’s how important a charity like REMAP is to the community and is delighted to be able to support them in this way.

Mike Beral
Trustee
Mike retired in 2019 from a career in IT, bridging the gap between technology and its business application, designing and implementing large commercial projects. He is a keen hobbyist DIY-er and photographer, and he supports a number of charities with their live streaming. Mike joined the board of REMAP as a trustee in March 2023.

Joe Martin
Trustee
Joe has 17 years experience working in the not-for-profit sector in strategy, impact and project management roles including with: the MS Society, Leonard Cheshire and currently Motability. He has also been a trustee of many charities. He has been disabled for eight years and is very interested in advocating and improving independence for people with a disability.

Paul Cooper
Trustee
Paul is registered occupational therapist with experience working in the NHS, adult social care, and the charity sector. He has held positions as a clinician and a manager, as well as an advisory role that has helped influence the occupational therapy profession. Currently, Paul holds a leadership position for a private provider of occupational therapy services. In March 2023, Paul became a trustee on the board of REMAP.
