Social media volunteer
24th June 2024
Could you fit in an hour or two each week to make a real and tangible difference to people living with a disability or special need?
Do you have a working knowledge of social media?
Can you work independently from home at times to suit you?
If the answer the these three questions is ‘YES’ then REMAP Berkshire would like to hear from you!
Our volunteer engineers design and make free equipment and gadgets for those with disabilities where nothing suitable is available commercially. These bespoke solutions enable people of all ages to do independently what would otherwise not be possible: sports, hobbies, travel, work, education, mobility, personal care.
We need a volunteer to join our Publicity team who is familiar with the main social media platforms and can regularly create, maintain and post items of interest to potential clients and healthcare professionals.
We can supply editorial content, images and ideas, but need someone who has the time and expertise to maintain the necessary frequency of exposure on social media and work up links of mutual benefit.
Time commitment: The time required is up to the volunteer, both in terms of the duration and timing. Could be fitted in evenings and weekends for those working.
Where is it: You will work from home, preferably in the Berkshire/North Hampshire area, as you will be invited to join in occasional meetings in person, or online, if you wish to
When is it: At times to suit the volunteer
