Adjustable trolley
This young lady has spina-bifida. Her mother attends to her various hygiene needs with her laid on the floor placing strain on the mother’s knees and back.
A trolley with electrically powered adjustable height was devised allowing easy transfer from a sitting position at conventional chair height and then raising it to a convenient working height. The sectioned work surface permits sit-up or prone positions.
The mother can now attend to her daughter’s needs at a comfortable working height without the experiencing the previous physical strain and discomfort.
