Arm support for flute playerPlaying the flute is the main hobby of this wheelchair user, especially in church.  This has become difficult due to a weakness in her right arm.  A contoured arm support was manufactured and affixed to the right arm of the client’s wheelchair via a hinge and metal rods.  The rods are adjustable to give the correct height for flute playing.

The client can continue to enjoy her main hobby, to the benefit of the local congregation.

I have been learning to play the flute again. My right arm and fingers are weak. I discovered today if I help hold it with my music stand I can play a D & E. This may help my problem too. I have MS.
