Child’s swing

Nicole wanted to be able to climb up into a garden swing and then be adequately supported while swinging safely with other family members. Her mother had a bad back and found it difficult to assist her daughter in this activity.

A wooden swing seat was made with side support and an adjustable pommel, to allow for growth, and a set of steps to enable safe access.

With supervision, Nicole can now clamber up into the swing and then play safely. In addition, her mother now has less strain on her back.
