Hoist hand control
Jasmin could not operate her hoist hand control as the buttons were too hard to press. A new hand control was requested with lighter buttons.
The functionality of the original control had to be determined on-site as the control unit could not be taken away. Photographs were taken of the printed circuit board (PCB) to analyse later and the plug connections were checked for continuity. A new PCB was designed and manufactured. The buttons were designed to be easy to press and have lots of bright colours that would appeal to children. The front panel continues the theme of bright colours with arrows to indicate their function.
Jasmin now has a hand control that is attractive and easy to use.
