Large digital speedometerClient is visually impaired having convergent sight affecting short focal distances. Is legally able to drive a car but is unable to see analogue speedometer clearly.

By using the manufacturer’s details of the input to the existing speedometer it was possible to design an electronic circuit to work in parallel. The circuit drives two large single digit LEDs spaced suitably apart. The electronics are housed in a custom made housing which fit on top of the dashboard.

The client’s confidence is boosted knowing their control is improved in terms of staying within the legal speed limits.
