Lengthened lever on toilet flushAn elderly man with sensory axonal neuropathy cannot easily operate the toilet flush in his home. His wife is also disabled and cannot operate it either.

As the flush operating handle is positioned at the side of the cistern. it was possible to fix a bracket to the wall behind the cistern which holds a moveable handle with a striker to contact the original flush. Because the fitment has a long handle, the man and his wife can now reach it easily and because of the leverage effect need only to apply minimum effort.
