Plate holder/mover
The client only has use of his left hand and feeding himself was difficult. His right hand would spasm and knock any tray or plate away from him. He also wished to move the plate away from him when he had finished his meal.
A wooden table was constructed with a sliding top released by a paddle handle. The plate is in a recess and the cup is held in two wooden bars to prevent tipping.
The client is highly delighted with the table. His right arm no longer knocks his plate and he can move it away himself. Eating is now much easier and more enjoyable.
