Portable half step
The client is unable to lift his legs sufficiently to climb normal stairs and needed a small, lightweight, portable half step to assist him. There are no similar devices on sale in this country.
The solution
The step was fabricated from 20 mm x 20 mm rivetted aluminium angle with rubber feet and a plywood top. A standard, collapsible walking stick was attached to the side.
