Derek McMullan of the Belfast panel has been trying without any luck to source wide wheels (not castors) for wheelchairs used by disabled bowlers.

Can anyone help Derek?  Please reply to derek.mcmullan@remapni.org

Thank you.

You will probably have to play with the axles but this site has some wide wheel that may be of possible use

Not sure if this is any help ……I recently came across someone who’d built his own motorised wheelchair and put deep-tread tractor-type tyres on it to allow him to travel over rough terrain. The wheels/tyres are smaller in diameter than usual wheelechair wheels but work!
