Support chair
Our client had weak posture resulting in pronounced leaning to the right both standing and seated, and wanted to feel supported and held in a more upright position whilst seated at the dining table.
The solution
A suitable high backed dining chair was acquired at little cost from a local charity.
Various padded supports were temporarily clamped in place and adjusted in consultation with the clients Occupational Therapist, until the best solution was found.
Design factors to be considered included the stability and strength of the chair and ease of use and comfort of the client. Side handles have been incorporated to assist the client in and out of the chair.

Our client is seated in a fully supported and comfortable position.
