David takes back control

David has motor neurone disease and lost the ability to operate the hand controls of his recliner chair leading to a loss of independence.

To solve this problem, Remap has constructed a device that allows David to raise or lower the chair simply by placing his feet on some special strips; one for up, the other for down. The successful device has transformed David’s life: “It’s given me a lot more independence; so much so that the kids think I’m going up in the world!” he joked.
