Motor Neurone Disease event
Remap was represented at the MND Association Education Conference in Kettering by Tony Lake, a volunteer and Chair of our Northamptonshire group. Professor Ammar Al-Chalabi Professor of Neurology and Complex Disease Genetics King’s College London opened the event with an overview of motor neurone disease and was followed by a moving account of the impact of MND from David Solomon who has the disease.
Tony is pictured at the event standing on a screw lift made by Remap Northants. It is operated by an electric drill and was made for a local person with rheumatoid arthritis. Remap was pleased to tell people about the free service we offer to people with MND.
