Kristine’s Chair, Made Comfortable

Kristine* imported a lightweight, folding powerchair, but the armrests were too close together, making it difficult to use. We custom-machined four lightweight aluminium spacers, giving her the space she needed—while preserving the chair’s folding ability and door clearance.

Geraldine’s Protective Bumper Bar

Crowded areas made Geraldine anxious in her wheelchair—accidental bumps had previously caused painful knee dislocations. REMAP designed and fitted a bespoke bumper bar to her chair for added protection.

Christine’s Door Handle Extension

Christine, a paraplegic wheelchair user, loves her garden but she faced a frustrating problem: she couldn’t reach the back door handle from outside, leaving her stuck and dependent on others. REMAP created a custom door handle extension, giving Christine the freedom to come and go as she pleases.
