Debbie and Dex’s Wedding Fundraiser

Debbie and Dex raised an incredible £2,148 for REMAP!

They explain how and why they created a REMAP fundraiser in lieu of gifts at their wedding.

“We have everything we need, so instead of wedding gifts we wanted to encourage those who were able to donate to a charity of our choice instead.

We wanted to nominate a smaller charity close to our hearts, as we felt not only could our donation make an impact, but it also might help raise awareness of the fantastic work that they do among our guests.

We chose REMAP because the charity does amazing work. We’re extremely passionate about disability advocacy, access, and inclusion, and also about finding joy in hobbies, interests, and in life. This is exactly what REMAP is all about – finding ways to support people to access the big and the small things that make all the difference.

We were so pleased we could raise this money for REMAP and want to thank all our guests for their generosity. We really hope that it can support REMAP with the amazing work they do.”
