Katherine’s Wheelchair adaptation

Katherine first reached out to Remap through a recommendation from a friend. Katherine was looking for an adaptation for her wheelchair to hold her son, so that she could be more involved with her parenting responsibilities.

Once she had contacted Remap, a baby seat adaptation was made for the front of her wheelchair, for her son to sit in, enabling Katherine to do more with her son.

Explaining how this has really impacted the bond between her and her son, Katherine says:

“Beforehand I couldn’t take my son anywhere outside myself. My husband had to push him around and I just wanted to be as much involved with Alexander as possible. Thanks to the help of Remap Volunteers it now means I can take my son out and have quality time with him.”
