Meet Matt — Part of Our 2026 London Marathon Team

Get to know Matt French, the other half of our amazing Team REMAP who are taking on the London Marathon in April.

Matt French, a marketing and communications officer from Milton Keynes, has worked in the charity sector for over 15 years. He currently works for the Spinal Injuries Association and has also been a REMAP volunteer with his local panel in the past.

Matt started running in January 2024 after completing Couch to 5k and has since run a couple of half marathons, but this will be his first marathon!

Matt says:

“I’m very excited to be taking on this amazing challenge for REMAP. 

Throughout my career I have been passionate about supporting everyone in the disability community.  During my time as a REMAP volunteer, I saw firsthand how this brilliant charity does just that through their unique makes. I hope, through my marathon endeavours, I can play a small part in improving even more lives across the UK.”
