Wheelchair foot plates
The limited adjustment of the client’s wheelchair footsupports meant that his feet were not supported comfortably.
The solution
Larger footplates with longer pads were added to provide the required support, held in place with velcro. The existing pads were relocated either side of the knees to prevent them from coming into contact with the hard edges of the footrest holder and to stop the feet spreading sideways.

The benefit
The client is now much more comfortable and better supported.
