Tenor horn support
Our young client has effective use of only one hand, and required a stand for a tenor horn to allow her to play the instrument.
The solution
A dual purpose mount was created from aluminium tube, which can either be attached to it’s own column stand, or with an optional section with clamp, to the client’s wheelchair.

The benefit
The instrument is fully supported and the client can now play in the band with her dad.

My wife plays a Tenor Horn and she agrees that this is a good solution. Many years ago we were asked to make a Trumpet stand for similar reasons but for some reason we never did as we thought holding a trumpet on a stand and using one hand wouldn’t work too well.
