Wheelchair bag carrier
Our client is a university student who had recently switched to a Kuschall Champion ultra lightweight wheelchair, and wanted some similar bag carriers for the front of his wheelchair to the ones he had on his previous machine. The equivalent items available from Kuschall for the new chair were only light duty, and not strong enough for a bag full of books and coursework. Reaching to a bag slung on the back of the chair was difficult for him, and a wheel bag was also unsuitable.
The solution
Our client had retained the bag supports from his old chair, and Remap engineer Brian Wood was able to replace the original clamps with machined aluminium ones to fit the new chair, whilst retaining the ability for the client to flip the supports up/down as required.
The benefit
Our client was able to keep his bag in his favoured location.
