Remap on BBC News

We are delighted to have been featured on BBC South Today on Wednesday. The report told the story of Zoe, who finds it hard to pick things up from the floor, and Remap volunteer Geoff, who custom-made her a reacher out of a toy robot and a mobile powerbank.

Geoff told us more about why he volunteers with Remap:

It’s nice to see the quality of life of someone like Zoe improve, even if it’s only in a small way.

The report has generated a host of enquiries about volunteering with us, and we hope to receive many more in the days to come. We’d like to say a big thank you to the team at BBC South for making this possible for us.
