Case Officer - REMAP - Custom made equipment for disabled people

Case Officer

Do you want to help change the lives of disabled people in your local area? Are you looking to give back to the community and want to make a real difference to where you live? Volunteering with REMAP could be for you!

REMAP is the UK’s only charity providing custom-made equipment, free of charge for disabled people. Every year we help an average of around 3,000 people experiencing disability. We achieve this through our network of over 60 branches, run by our 800 strong volunteer team.

Our Newcastle branch is currently looking to recruit a new volunteer Case Officer. In this vital role, you’ll:

  • Processing and allocating cases which have come to the branch
  • Use our online referral portal to manage and update case notes

You may have engineering experience or be a skilled craftsperson, but this is not essential. This role is largely homebased and will involve regular meetings with your branch members.
