Dishwasher door opening device
The client has rheumatoid arthritis and found it difficult to undo the catch on her drop down dishwasher door.
A plastic moulded tool was made that the client could grip in both hands to operate the drop down door catch.
She can now open her dishwasher door with ease.

I have spoken to my friend, who has severe arthritis in his hands, feet and now also in his neck. He was assessed at the hospital and they suggested breaking his knuckles to straighten out his fingers, so he is reluctant to have a visit from yourselves, but needs to open his dishwasher door.
So please is it possible you can you send me this device.
Jayalex
Hi Jayalex, thank you for your comment. We’re unable to send out equipment, as everything we make is custom-designed for each person’s needs. Please don’t worry about a visit, however — we’re a registered charity that designs and creates bespoke equipment, not a medical service or advice provider. If your friend could benefit from custom equipment, please complete our referral form with a bit more information, then we can see if we’re able to design something for them: http://www.remap.org.uk/help
