Bath seat
The client couldn’t access her bath safely and needed a seat attachment which will assist entry and exit to her bath.
The Challenge
The client wanted an aid to allow her to sit comfortably in the bath on the existing bath chair and help to assist entry and exiting the chair.
The solution
A supplimentary chair with padded seat and hinged back was designed to fit over the existing bath chair and get the client into the right position. The frame was made from waterproof plywood panelling (similar to shower enclosures) which was padded with waterproof vinyl and waterproof, closed cell foam. A safety strap was provided.

The solution enables correct positioning in the existing bath chair.
