Cabin bed steps
A child struggled to climb the steep steps into his cabin bed. 
The solution
The steps were extended to make them deeper to allow him to get into bed unaided. Being hinged, the extensions can be folded out of the way when not needed.

The benefit
He now has the independence to get into bed unaided. As his mother says: “.. at just the second attempt tonight, [he] managed to climb into bed with no support at all!! He turned to me and the huge grin on his face said it all.”
