Trolley rollator hand rest and grip
An adaptation for a trolley rollator for a lady with poor LH grip.
The Challenge
Our client has a kitchen trolley type of rollator but had insufficient left hand movement to grip the trolley top rail as one would normally.
The solution
Engineer Ian Brocket created a hand rest platform which bolted onto the trolley rollator using Stauff clamps (typically used for securing hydraulic pipes). The platform was covered in vinyl for comfort, and a pottery drawer knob provided a suitable grip that our client could hold.
The benefit
Our client had improved control over the trolley through being able to use both hands.
