Walker support for baby buggy
The client is 4’9” tall and has a weak right leg. The handles of her grand-daughter’s baby buggy are too high and she cannot use her walking stick for support.
Additional legs with castering wheels were fitted to the buggy, with swinging links that allowed the front to be lifted for manoeuvring over kerbs. The buggy can be folded in the usual way. The client’s weight is taken directly down through the new rear legs with no tendency to overbalance the buggy. The client can now look after her grand-daughter.
