Chair for child washing at basin
Jacob could not stand at the bathroom basin to wash.
He could not bend his legs to sit in a standard high chair
The solution
I purchased a new wooden high chair off Ebay – (£14)
I built the chair but did not fit the front cross bar.
I extended the main seat fowards with a pine offcut to support Jacob’s legs
I used part of the cross bar to make a vertical post to prevent him slipping off the chair
I was planning to adjust the height of the chair to suite the basin but no adjustment was required.
The benefit
Jacob can now sit at the basin to wash.
