CotThe client is a young boy with cerebral palsy, who has a habit of waking in the night and wandering around the house, with no regard for safety. His parents requested a specially constructed cot, large and strong enough to contain him.

A special cot was produced, which holds a full size single bed on a slightly raised platform and is high enough to contain the client. A later modification was made to enable the ‘gate’ to be lifted out vertically when necessary to avoid stress on the hinges when open.

The client is now happily contained within the cot when put down to sleep or rest, thus giving the parents greater peace of mind.
