Wheelchair footrest modification
The client required his wheelchair footrest to lower, level with the ground for easy access.
A footrest was designed to rest on the ground while the client stands on it, rotates, and seats himself. Forward operation of a lever raises the footrest and backward movement drops it to the ground, which allows the footrest to take the client’s full weight.
The client can now get in and out of his wheelchair much more easily.
