The client is a keen photographer but has a weak right arm and struggles to operate digital SLR controls.

We sourced an arm brace support for a video camera from Amazon and 3d printed a hand grip on which the camera could be mounted with a quick release catch (also available from Amazon). The client can now point the camera with his right arm while easily operating the controls with his left hand.  The grip and catch were designed in Freecad, contact me if you would like me to send you a copy.

The hand grip will require a 6mm grub screw, an M3 bolt and a 5mm x 10mm spring for the catch arm.

The solution worked well and the client was pleased.
