Chair raisers for leather arm chair
Our client has a leather suite with low profile square timber feet, but following a stroke, found it harder to get out of the chair. Most chair raisers, such the commercial “elephant feet” type, cater for chairs with proper legs so were unsuitable in this particular case.
The solution
Bespoke replacement timber feet were crafted by Harrogate and Ripon Group engineer Buck White, and stained and lacquered to match the rest of the suite.
The benefit
Our client is now in a sufficiently good siting position that he can now reach forward and pull himself into a standing position using an Ambiturn sit-to-stand aid.
