Drinking aid for person with very limited mobility
The client has multiple sclerosis and can only move his head and neck. He requires a means to drink when his wife is not at hand.
A cycle drinking bottle was adapted by adding a bracket and attaching it behind the backrest of the wheelchair with a tube to chin control frame that carries a rigid drinking tube. Bottle, tube and bracket are easily detachable for cleaning.
The client can now drink unaided.
