Garden ramp with adjustable feet
The client needed wheelchair access to his garden where commercial ramps were unsuitable.
The solution
A shallow wooden ramp was made, with adjustable height legs to allow for the uneven ground.

The adjustable legs were made from threaded rod as shown above. Where it was not possible to reach below the platform to adjust the hexagon nut, a T-nut was used and a slot cut in the upper end of the threaded rod for turning with a screwdriver. Similar legs are sold for leveling kitchen cabinets which may also be suitable.
