Hand Swich Operated Raising Foot Stool
The client required a foot stool that could be raised by a hand switch when sitting in an easy chair.
The Challenge
The client uses her wheelchair for 15 hours a day but also likes sitting in an easy chair. Due to her condition, she needed to raise her legs to place on a foot stool, but she found it difficult to raise her legs.
The solution
A hand switch operated, raising foot stool, was made, with a lowest setting of 150mm and a highest of 420mm, to meet the clients need.
The benefit
The client can now easily place her feet on the foot stool, press a button and raise her legs. She can also lower her legs by pushing on the same button.
