Prone trolleyThis lady had broken her back and the continuous use of a wheelchair was causing discomfort. A prone trolley was found to be greatly beneficial but being no longer available commercially, we were asked to design and produce a similar device.

The wheels were begged from the local wheelchair services, although used, they were in good condition. The frame was constructed from square section steel tubing and the padded top was made from upholstery foam covered with a plastic washable material. Some readjustments to door positions and wall corners were required to allow access throughout the house.

With suitable cushions the trolley afforded the client a change of position from the wheelchair and enabled her to straighten her back giving her prolonged periods of comfort.
