Play table for a 2-year-old child with spinal damage
The parents wanted a curved table (similar with a kidney shape) that will allow them to push the wheelchair into it.
The solution
A table was made with legs wide enough apart to accommodate his wheelchair.
Although there are a variety of attachments for wheelchairs and other play tables available this design had a number of unique features that were made specifically for Edward.
The benefit
The kidney shape meant that no part of the table was out of Edward’s reach.
