Rain canopy for child’s wheelchair

The problem was a severely disabled 6 year old used a wheel chair.  The child’s mother couldn’t find a rain canopy to fit.  She got a push chair rain canopy but this rested on the child’s head.  Some form of support for the canopy was needed.

Using LocLine as the stem I connected a plastic plate to the top to form the canopy support.  An old tripod fitting was used to attache it to the wheelchair headrest support.

    Hi Alan
I have a similar problem for a 5 year old who is a wheelchair user and likes to be outside. What size Locline did you use and where did you get it from?

    Paul
